Welcome to Love Collective Introductions (lovecollectiveintroductions.ca). By accessing our website and engaging with our matchmaking, coaching and introduction services, you agree to comply with the following terms.
1. Introduction and scope of service
Love Collective Introductions is a professional matchmaking agency. We provide personalized matchmaking and coaching services to facilitate introductions between individuals. By using our site and submitting your information, you acknowledge that we are a service provider and do not guarantee specific results, such as marriage or long-term relationships. Introductions are facilitated based on compatibility, availability, and mutual interest. No specific outcomes are guaranteed.
2. Eligibility and user conduct
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information in your application and any forms you submit.
- Be genuinely seeking a committed relationship and act in good faith toward other members and our staff.
Prohibited conduct: any form of harassment, fraudulent representation, or the sharing of other members’ private information with third parties is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of service.
3. Data collection and privacy
We prioritize your privacy. Based on our data practices:
- Application data: we store your name, email, and any personal details you provide in order to deliver our services.
- Security: we use SSL/HTTPS to encrypt communication. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and take immediate steps to restore system integrity.
- Data rights: you may request an exported file of your data or its erasure. Erasing essential data (such as your email or application history) will end our ability to provide matchmaking or support.

4. Third-party integrations
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics for anonymous reporting of site usage.
- Embedded content: we may feature content from platforms like YouTube, Facebook, or Instagram. These third parties have their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
- Hosting and storage: your data is stored with our website hosting provider on secured servers.
- Background screening: criminal record checks are conducted by Triton Canada, as described in section 7.
5. Cookies
We use cookies to enhance your experience: necessary cookies for session identification and authentication, and preference cookies to remember your settings. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may limit site functionality.
6. Confidentiality and professionalism
Confidentiality is the cornerstone of our business.
- Mutual confidentiality: Love Collective Introductions agrees to keep your sensitive data private, except for authorized introductions. Likewise, you agree to keep the identities and details of any individuals you are introduced to strictly confidential.
- Release of data: we reserve the right to release information to legal authorities if required by law or to investigate fraudulent activities.
7. Screening, and the limits of it
Every applicant to the Love Collective Introductions matchmaking service completes a criminal record check conducted by Triton Canada, an independent Canadian background screening provider, with the applicant’s written consent, as part of the approval process. Applications are assessed before approval and before any membership is sold. Where consent is refused, or where the check does not support approval, the application does not proceed.
A background check is a point-in-time search of available records. It is not a prediction of future behaviour, and it cannot detect conduct that was never reported, charged, or recorded. Love Collective Introductions does not warrant the character, intentions, honesty, or conduct of any person introduced through the service, and is not liable for the behaviour, actions, or claims of any individual you meet through us. You remain responsible for your own judgement and safety, including on first meetings. Nothing in this section limits any right you have under the Manitoba Consumer Protection Act.
8. The $97 application and screening fee
Applying for matchmaking requires a one-time $97 application and screening fee, paid by Interac e-Transfer. The fee pays for the Triton Canada criminal record check and the time spent assessing the application; it is not refunded if an application is declined, because the check was run and the work was done. If an application is approved, the full $97 is credited against the membership the applicant chooses.
9. Memberships and cancellation
Intro and Executive memberships are prepaid service contracts. No membership runs longer than 12 months, and memberships do not renew automatically. You pay for a membership in two equal instalments: the first when you sign your membership contract, and the second one week later.
Your 7-day right to cancel. You may cancel your membership contract within seven days after the day you sign it, not counting Sundays and statutory holidays. Give us written notice of cancellation in person at 500-167 Lombard Avenue, Winnipeg, or by registered mail to that address. If your first introduction has not taken place, we will refund all money you paid.
Once dating has started. Once your first introduction has taken place, the service has begun and the membership is not refundable, even within the seven days.
After seven days. Memberships are not refundable after the seven-day cancellation period. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Manitoba Consumer Protection Act.
The $97 application and screening fee is separate. It is paid before any membership contract exists and is covered in section 8.

10. Coaching
Coaching 101 is four one-hour sessions delivered online, priced at $799 plus applicable taxes. Coaching does not require an application or screening, and coaching clients are not added to the matchmaking network unless they ask to be.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Manitoba.
