What’s the difference between a matchmaker and a dating coach?
It comes down to what each one does for you. A matchmaker at Love Collective Introductions finds compatible, screened people and introduces you in person, in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. A dating coach teaches you the skills to date better wherever you are, over four one-hour online sessions. Matchmaking builds your dating pool. Coaching builds your ability to navigate it.
Can I do both coaching and matchmaking?
Yes. Many clients do. You don’t have to finish one before the other. Some take Coaching 101 first to sharpen their approach, then apply to matchmaking. Others apply to matchmaking directly and add coaching later. Each service is booked and paid for separately.
Is coaching available outside Manitoba?
Yes. Coaching 101 is online, over video, for clients anywhere in Canada. Matchmaking is different. It’s in person only, and limited to Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
Does coaching include being introduced to people?
No. Coaching 101 is four one-hour sessions on your dating skills and approach. There’s no application, no screening and no introductions to other members. Want to be introduced to compatible, screened people? That’s what matchmaking is for.
Do I need to apply for coaching the way I do for matchmaking?
No. Coaching 101 has no application and no screening step. You book your four sessions directly. Matchmaking works differently. It needs a $97 application and a screening through Triton Canada before you’re approved to join.
Is matchmaking available outside Manitoba and Saskatchewan?
No. Matchmaking is in person and limited to those two provinces. If you live elsewhere in Canada, Coaching 101 is available to you online. And if you move to Manitoba or Saskatchewan, matchmaking opens up.
